Hypnotic Meditation ~ The Whole Shebang
A self-hypnosis package. Guide, booklet, 28 journal prompts, four audio tracks and the web app.
When you meditate you 'are' and you open out When you are in hypnosis you 'are' and you focus in When you are in hypnotic meditation you just 'are'
Learning hypnosis is something everyone can do, as it is a natural state that we all slip in and out of frequently throughout each day. The trance state is already familiar to us all. Can you think of a time when you were in your car and, on arrival at your destination, realised you had 'forgotten' parts of the journey?
Hypnosis is usually (but not compulsory) accompanied by a state of physical relaxation, during which time the subconscious mind is accessible for positive suggestions and to make changes. Relaxation is not a prerequisite but it can be a rather lovely bonus.
Blending hypnosis and meditation is a fine way to experience the delicious states that can be achieved.
What is inside
The Guide An overview of what is included, how to use each part, how to save the web app to your phone or tablet, and your passcode.
The Booklet Your personal guide to the practice. How hypnosis and meditation work together, how you think and why that changes the technique that suits you, relaxing, deepening, and using suggestions and affirmations. It closes with a full script you can read to yourself, record in your own voice or have someone read to you.
Your Special Place ~ guided audio A spoken induction that leads you into a relaxed state, then deepening, then to your own special place, that inner sanctuary where all is well. From there, what you do is entirely up to you. Set to soft meditation music throughout. Written and recorded by Barbara.
Distant Light ~ meditation music, 60 minutes Pure meditation music with no binaural tones. No headphones needed unless desired. Play it as you read the script, when journaling or simply resting.
Alpha and Theta binaural wave tracks, 20 minutes each These use separate tones delivered to each ear to create a binaural wave. Headphones are needed for them to work as intended. Alpha if you have no experience of meditation or hypnotic meditation. Theta if you have experience, or when you have used the Alpha track a few times.
28 days of journal prompts Four sets of seven, moving through Awareness & Intention, Patterns & Possibility, Connection & Clarity, and Integration & Growth. Use them daily, dip in and out, weekly, add in your own or something else. All options are perfect. If you do not wish to journal in any way, pondering, meditating or merely thinking of each prompt can have quite the effect.
The web app Everything above built as a web app for iOS and Android, passcode protected. The link, the steps to save it to your home screen and the passcode are all in the Guide.
There is no right or wrong way to use this practice. You might choose to practise daily, weekly or whenever you need some time to restore and reset. Please be 'you' and use whatever works best.
Take these instructions and make them your own: if a word or an image does not sit well with you, swap it for one that does.
