How lovely of you to drop by  ✨

My name is Barbara and I live on a hill in a magical hamlet in the south of England.

I opened my hypno-doors in 1992 and have gathered many tools along the way by learning from my clients and training in CBT, Health Coaching plus others.

Following many years of being disabled with back issues, surgical damage and all the accompanying issues my work naturally led me to holistic coaching,  pain management, stress reduction
and voice overs/narration'. The fancy term for doing/being many things is, 'Multihyphenate' and, 'Multipotentialite' and; courtesy of Tim Harford, slow motion multi-tasking - these words and descriptions spark joy.

Being comfortable working in the left-brain logical, medically inclined camp and the right-brain creative, esoteric field  means I am equally happy discussing neuroplasticity with a doctor as talking about soul retrieval with a shaman.

We make our own magic but sometimes lose our way or fall under spells that do not work in our favour. It is not my job or desire to fix, repair, change or impose but to guide you towards your life of bliss and success.

I specialise in pain management hypno-coaching  ~ my work is complementary" to your medical care in an easy balanced way. If you have private medical insurance please check with your company about necessary referrals for payment.

' Originally recording hypnotic mediations onto audio cassette (how old?!?) and then CDs before downloads became a thing. I was one of the first to have meditation apps when they were simple; one app = one meditation.

" Nowadays, complementary therapy is referred to as Integrated Therapy/Healthcare.

Mutually beneficial mingling

I offer talks on hypnosis/therapy, pain management, stress management, meditation, creating best life, writing for publication and as a therapy, plus all related subjects.

I work in an experiential way rather than passive lecturing - although I can talk the hind legs off a donkey - well I would if I knew what that meant.

From January 2023 I will be reviewing/testing/sampling books/products + other offerings. As an ambulatory wheelchair user my interests are MBS, accessibility, travelling and health products in general.

If travelling is involved my costs must be covered and always with a plus one.
