Write Your Book
When I became a published author it was one of the best feelings. Well, it was after I got over the shock and the realisation that I would have to actually write it.
I speak to many people who get no further than talking about their publishing dream and this is a shame because I believe we all have something to share. This was one of the reasons I became involved in publishing and people began asking me for book writing advice: where to start, what to write, how to publish and what is the best wine for creativity. I made up the last bit. If book writing is on your dream/bucket list please do something about it rather than just think about it.
Writing a book can be challenging but being clear in mind it makes it much more fun.
- have knowledge to share
- have a desire to help others
- enjoy weaving stories
- wish to establish your status as an expert
- want to write a book
Whatever your reason to write, when you have a book it is your key to open many doors.
My involvement in the publishing industry has given me knowledge to know what is needed to be in the game and with over 25 years experience as a hypnotherapist I can dissolve away any fears that might be holding you back. We start from the premise that you can write as I do not teach creative writing . However, I do know lovely editors and tutors who can whip your scribblings into shape if necessary.
Together we will:
- clear the way for your muse to come and play
- change your mindset to that of an author
- find your writing voice
- get out your mojo
- decide your best route
- prepare to publish - self or traditional
Writing a book is fun but for many (even the most devoted) it can become stressful. Anxieties appear uninvited, doubts creep in and as for the negative self-talk. Well, don't get me started...
Please get in touch if you would like to enquire about a VIP Day or to co-host a workshop or a retreat holiday.
Please do not send me manuscripts to check or review for a suitable publisher or ask me for advice as this is unfair to my clients.
If you feel excited at the thought of attending a workshop or retreat holiday with me to write your book then please make contact.
In the meantime please read, On Writing by Stephen King and Eats, Shoots & Leaves by Lynn Truss.
I am sharing the youtube video of Anne Rice because she is so inspirational.
